We didn’t visit the museum we were
meant to go to today because of the very long queue that greeted our coach when
we arrived. Again this was due to the public holidays which continued. We
didn’t mind as it meant we could instead visit the CBD area for some shopping.
It was fun and not so busy or stressful. Following lunch we boarded the high
speed train for our trip to Suzhou. (4.5 hours) We
arrived at the station and were greeted by our next guide, Ivy. We were taken
to the Hotel in Suzhou and after unpacking went out for a fun night and dinner
at a small restaurant across the road from our Hotel.
